Biotex® tape is a flat-woven gasket that guarantees excellent flexibility and mechanical resistance. It can be used for continuous temperatures (glass-fibre reinforced) or (Stainless steel-reinforced). The product contains approximately 20% organic binders to facilitate the carding process. The binders burn at low temperatures, but without any effect on the special glass fibres. On request, it can be supplied with an adhesive side, to facilitate positioning during the application stage. The adhesive withstands a maximum temperature of -10°C / +50°C. On request, it can be impregnated with graphite to increase lubricating power. Applications Furnaces, boilers, metalwork in general, small gas boilers, pipe lagging. When ordering the tape it is sufficient to specify the thickness and the width.
