Description
Biotex® insulating cord is made of Biotex® fibres covered by a loose-mesh sleeve. This is an extremely soft and ductile gasket, ideal for continuous temperatures of up to 650°C (glass-fibre reinforced) or up to 1050°C (Stainless steel-reinforced). The product contains approximately 20% organic binders to facilitate the carding process. The binders burn at low temperatures, but without any effect on the special glass fibres.
Applications
Insulation of pipes, covering of cables, highly compressible seals.
