Description
Biotex® sleeve is a tubular gasket, ideal for covering hoses, which can be used for continuous temperatures of up to 650°C (glass-fibre reinforced) or up to 1050°C (stainless steel-reinforced). The product contains approximately 20% organic binders to facilitate the carding process. The binders burn at low temperatures, but without any effect on the special glass fibres.
Applications
Thermal insulation of pipes, insulation of hoses, electric cables, steel works, car industry, paper mills, metallurgy, etc.
