The remarkable properties of mineral wools have made them a valuable and widely used raw material in numerous different fields. Mineral wool is a chemically inert raw material which cannot rot, catch fire or burn and resists very high temperatures.
From its experience and from various studies, Eurocoustic has developed the natural characteristics of mineral wools according to their use, in order to optimise their performance in terms of temperature resistance, elasticity, solidity, metrology and size of flocks. These results are achieved by the treatment of the surface of the fibres with one or more products, making it possible to take into account both the desired performance and the environment in which the mineral wool is to be blended (wet environment, dry mixing)
Thus, Eurocoustic offers products which are specially adapted to their applications.
Every study is specific and results in a specific product definition.

A primary example of where ZirPro® is making a real difference is in the automotive industry.
By developing highly reactive Zirconium carrier ZirPro® is increasing both the performance and endurance of catalytic converters.
Other industrial processing benefiting from ZirPro® zirconium chemical derivatives include paint dryers, titanium oxide pigment coating and leather tanning.
The growing use of technical ceramics in the industry requires a constant development of ceramic powders. ZirPro's range of products includes monoclinic (CC,CS,ZR&ZC) and stabilized zirconias (YZ,MgZ) produced by thermal or chemical process.
