| Ceramic (ferrite) magnets are composed of strontium carbonate and iron oxide. They are charcoal gray in color and usually appear in the forms of discs, rings, blocks, industrial cylinders, and sometimes arcs for motors. |
|
The most important fields of application for the lasered, stamped, green-scored, dry-pressed and, depending on application, the metalized version of our substrates for passive components are:
Ic resistors, resistor networks, potentiometers |

ZIRCAR's Refractory Sheet Type RS-A Moldable is a tough ceramic fibre reinforced insulation which contains no asbestos. Developed for induction coil liners and molten metal transport, Refractory Sheet Type RS-A Moldable is ideally suited for a wide range of high temperature, high
thermal shock applications. It is also used for brazing industrial separators and fixtures for jewelry making, as well as a high temperature gasket material. Its high Industrial alumina (Al2O3) content makes it resistant to sticking in many
environments, including molten metals, and it has a maximum operating temperature of 1450°C (2642°F).
Refractory Sheet Type RS-A Moldable is a wet blanket that can be easily formed into a wide variety of simple and complex shapes. Drying results in a strong rigid shape that can be re-wet to restore the original moldability. Baking irreversibly removes the moldability, leaving Refractory Sheet Type RS-A Moldable rigid and unaffected by moisture. Refractory Sheet Type RS-A Moldable can be frozen and thawed repeatedly with no loss in moldability
or other properties.
Refractory Sheet Type RS-A Moldable can be dried rapidly, either with a torch or by applying directly to a hot industrial furnace, to make quick repairs of cracks, or to replace missing refractories. |

Piezoceramic components are the all-important part of electromechanical transducers. They are capable of converting mechanical energy such as pressure or acceleration into electrical energy or, conversely, of turning electrical signals into mechanical movement or oscillation. Piezoceramic components are used in a broad spectrum of applications covering a wide frequency range. In sensors, they enable the conversion of forces, pressures, and accelerations into electrical signals.

ZIRCAR Refractory Composites, Inc. insulating blankets are non woven inorganic fiber-based products that contain no asbestos. They are engineered for use as thermal barrier materials in high temperature applications up to 1260°C (2300°F). Commonly used in molten metal casting and heat treating industries, ZRCI materials are also used as specialty gasketing in the fuel accumulator, nuclear, glass and electronic industries, as well as many other applications which require high temperature
stability and low thermal conductivity.
They offer excellent corrosion resistance and unique handling strength for easy die-cutting, wrapping and forming. |

ZRCI Refractory Sheet Types RS-Cloth and RS-Tape are fiber reinforced industrial alumina composites in a highly flexible form. They are received dried, when wetted with water or Al-HARD Hardener they become extremely flexible. They can be wrapped into many simple or complex shapes and will stick to themselves. When dried they become an extremely hard, strong, self supporting composite structures. RS-Putty can be used to burnish any surface and provide a very smooth hard finish. After a low temperature bake-out of 300°C (570°F) RS-Cloth And Tape are unaffected by moisture.
They offer the strength, durability, flexibility and versatility required by many high temperature applications up to 1300°C (2373°F). Their high alumina content makes Refractory Sheet RS-Cloth and RS-Tape highly resistant to many environments including Hot Glass handling, molten aluminum and chemical and petroleum processing. After they are baked out they are not affected by water as well as many types of fuel oils. When hardened with AL-Hard Refractory Sheet RS-Cloth and RS-Tape become "rock hard" for greater strength. |

| ZIRCAR Refractory Comoposites, Inc. provides a variety of non-asbestos calcium silicate structural insulations that combine high strength and excellent thermal insulating characteristics for use in a variety of heat processing, fire protective and electrical resistance applications. The unique calcium silicate structure provides excellent thermal shock resistance as evidenced in its typical use as a direct contact board for non-ferrous metals and in fire training burn rooms. They are fire resistant to temperatures approaching 2000°F. They also exhibit low thermal conductivities that remain relatively constant over a broad range of operating temperatures. |

The remarkable properties of mineral wools have made them a valuable and widely used raw material in numerous different fields. Mineral wool is a chemically inert raw material which cannot rot, catch fire or burn and resists very high temperatures.
From its experience and from various studies, Eurocoustic has developed the natural characteristics of mineral wools according to their use, in order to optimise their performance in terms of temperature resistance, elasticity, solidity, metrology and size of flocks. These results are achieved by the treatment of the surface of the fibres with one or more products, making it possible to take into account both the desired performance and the environment in which the mineral wool is to be blended (wet environment, dry mixing)
Thus, Eurocoustic offers products which are specially adapted to their applications.
Every study is specific and results in a specific product definition.
Wool for spraying : COATWOOL
Wool for friction materials : TECHWOOL MF
Wool for the insulation of cold pipes : TECHWOOL CRYOGENIQUE
Wool for the insulation of hot pipes : TECHWOOL TI
Wool for Wet Felt : TECHWOOL WF B
Complement for High temperature fibres : TECHWOOL SL
Wool for textile complement : TECHWOOL FC
Wool for paper and cardboard reinforcement : TECHWOOL PR |
