Nexus voice sounders combine normal sounder signals with a clear, synchronised voice message to help reduce confusion and distress during an active alarm.
Standard units are available with 4 pre-programmed messages, selected from an extensive message library covering almost any conceivable application. Bespoke messages are also available on request.
Combined with a xenon beacon the Nexus sounder is DDA compliant giving a clear voice message, powerful alarm tone and high output beacon for clear and effective warning.
All Nexus voice sounders have a USB interface that allows special messages in WAV format to be downloaded onto the sounder from any PC, providing users with the flexibility of adding/removing messages in-house.

Federal Signal's Model DSA Directional Speaker Array provides excellent voice and tone reproduction and is ideal for overcoming high levels of industrial noise. Design flexibility allows the user to combine up to four speaker arrays; each array will hold from two to six re-entrant speakers. The HPW 11 signalling hooter is a signalling device for warning and calling which, thanks to its sturdy housing, can be used indoors in both dry and damp rooms as well as outside. The version with telephone call relay allows the device to be used as an additional, loud acoustic signalling device for a telephone. The driver system consists of a strong, non-polarised lectromagnet, whose striker hits the diaphragm between 100 and 120 times a second. The housing of the signalling hooter is made of impactresistant thermoplastic. A self-sealing grommet M20 is proveded as cable gland for cable diameters of 8 to 1 mm. The signalling hooter with telephone relay is equipped with two self-sealing grommets M20.
