New DA135 Intrinsically Safe LED Beacon from RTK Instruments
RTK Instruments has developed a new range of LED Beacons, which provide powerful visual alarm signals in both hazardous and safe areas. The DA135 is ATEX certified for use in Zone 0, 1 or 2 hazardous areas and is available in five super-bright colours. The ruggedised and encapsulated enclosure makes this an ideal choice for the harsh environments found offshore and in the chemical and petrochemical industry.
The standard unit has a unique method of allowing the user to change the flash rate between single, double or triple flash by triggering control inputs. Customers can then use the same unit to indicate different site problems. A dual colour version is also available where each colour can be triggered separately from the control inputs

RTK Instruments’ NEX7250 Alarm Annunciator is a feature rich annunciator suitable for use in Zone 2 hazardous areas and designed to Type ‘n’ standards.
Designed to ATEX Directive 100a in accordance with EN50021:1999, the NEX7250 is based on the field-proven Series 725 Annunciator. Systems are available in a range of sizes and formats from 2 to 120 windows, in a choice of three different window sizes and six colours. Windows are illuminated by ultra-bright, ultra reliable LEDs.
As with all RTK’s range of Annunciators, ASIC technology is used in the NEX7250 to maximise reliability. This multi-redundant design ensures no single point can cause failure.
The standard unit comprises a wall mounting steel enclosure with hinged acrylic viewing window sealed to IP54. Options include panel mounting versions or stainless steel enclosures.
The NEX7250 is fully field-programmable for all standard ISA sequences plus a range of options. Units are equipped with dual common alarm and dual horn relays as standard. Options for RS485 serial interface and individual repeat relays per channel are also available.

The DA180 range of Giant LED Clusters, having a 66mm diameter lens, not only provides clear indication from a distance but is also visible from the side. Lenses are available in six super-bright colours and feature an integral current regulator to limit the current to 20mA. This ensures that all colours are matched to obtain consistent brightness across the range including white and blue. Up to two LED Clusters can be driven from a single IIC power source. The lamps are designed to provide a minimum of 100,000 hours of service life.
The DA180 Giant LED Clusters are ATEX Certified to Ex II 2G, EEx ia IIC T4 and are suitable for zones 1 and 2.

The DA170 range of LED Clusters provides visual on/off indication of process conditions in safe and hazardous areas. Available in six super-bright colours - red, green, yellow, orange, blue and white - they are standard 22.5mm diameter and seal to IP65 to the panel door.
All six colours are fully current limited and take only 20mA. All are matched for equal brightness including the white and blue versions.
In hazardous areas it is possible to combine LEDs from a single Intrinsically Safe interface, two for IIC interfaces and four with a IIB interface.
The standard LED Cluster can also be supplied fully mounted in stainless steel boxes ready for immediate mounting on-side.

The LN870 Light Tower provides visual on/off indication of process conditions in safe and hazardous areas. Configurable up to five tiers high in a choice of five super-bright colours (red, amber, green, blue and white), they can be built exactly the way you want.
Each tier has a unique prism cut lens and internal reflective cone to improve visibility and requires one LED lamp for illumination which is current-limited to take a maximum of only 2OmA. Available for hazardous area use in both zones 1 and 2, up to two tiers can be driven from a single IIC interface.
There is a choice of pole or direct mounting, both incorporating a special vibration absorber. With the LED's low power consumption, low heat dissipation and long life expectancy, the LN870 is an ideal indicator for safe and hazardous areas alike.

The Skyline Alpha series is based on a rubber housing with a transparent or red plastic cap. The six diode strips each with eight horizontally alligned LED´s exceed the minimum requirements of the ICAO of 10 cd explicit without dazzling. The Skyline Alpha 1 is the standard version without additional fastening material and can be mounted on stationary surfaces. Alpha 2 is pre-mounted on a mounting bracket and equipped with a 1-metre cable. The version Alpha 3 is also equipped with a mounting bracket and has an additional connecting box for simple and economic installation. For operation on masts, or at places where double safety is required, the design Alpha 4 is provided. This obstacle light has two lamps pre-mounted on a double arm and is easy to install by means of a connecting box. All designs are available with either a red or transparent cap with red LED´s.

ActiveLine is designed to indicate various operating states of machines and systems. The possible signalling colours green, yellow, red, blue and white are all shown in one single light element. Each colour can be preset to continuous light, blink light or flash light. The light is generated by use of lightemitting diodes. The model with sounder can also generate a penetrating signalling tone, with four adjustable sound levels.
The plastic housing, the stable foot and the sounder housing are made of impact-resistant thermoplastic. The cap consists of im-pact-resistant polycarbonate, and the stand-tube is made of aluminium.
