Label-Aire is proud to introduce the newest addition to its line of advanced pressure-sensitive label applicators. The NEW Label-Aire® Model 3111 HS represents the pinnacle in advanced high speed air-blow pressure-sensitive labeling technology.
The Label-Aire 3111 HS "High Speed" label applicator can apply labels accurately up to a blistering 1,000 labels per minute. The 3111 HS utilizes Label-Aire's innovative Air-Blow technology which retains the label by vacuum on a honeycomb applicator grid. At the precise moment the product passes under the grid, the label is blown onto the product. Peel tip sensing ensures repeatable label placement accuracy. The 3111 HS also features a DC Servo which allows the unit to handle up to 5,000" (12,700 cm) of web per minute at peak velocity.
Label-Aire's 3111 HS offers added versatility in that it can be mounted in almost any position adjacent to the production line to apply labels to the tops, sides, or bottoms of products.

ALcode - Print & Apply labeling systems - are systems for the printing/application of self-adhesive labels. They may be interfaced with a computer and can apply the just-printed label to both still and moving products.
For label printing, ALcode can integrate the various thermal transfer engines made from the Japanese SATO (or compatible). Which has specifically developed them for the use on automatic applicators: resolution of 8 or 12 dots/mm., up to 300 mm/sec. of print speed, 4 ", 5 " or 6 " of printable width.
In every ALcode print apply system, the mechanics, pneumatics and electronics have been suitably integrated to meet the typical requirements of machines operating in an industrial environment, which need to combine reliability, user-friendliness, accessibility, and interchange ability.
A range of standard devices has been engineered for the application of labels, thus enabling ALcode to apply labels in any position and at any linear speed

Characteristic advantages
- Display
The display supports different languages, so the system is ideal for installations on multi-national basis. The movable display can be brought into each position – so that fits best to the angle of the machine within the production line. Messages are readable at any time.
- Print head
The user can easily change the print head without any problems – or tools. The pre-setting of the print head guaranties an excellent print quality.
- Standards
19 fonts and all standard barcodes are included in the standard functionality of the ALX 92x. A compact Flash Card can store additional fonts or logos.
- Sensor
It is easy to adjust the position of the label path sensor of the ALX 92x - without stopping the system. The selection adjustment shows the position of the sensor additionally. The user is enabled to place the sensor in the middle of the path according to the pattern of the labels.
- Dot-Check
The integrated dot-check gives a warning even if only one single dot is missing and avoids errors absolutely reliable.
- Automatic foil saving
The automatic foil saving function uses all non-printed larger areas, and guarantees that foil is used most efficiently

With the UDA 150-S from KBA-Metronic it is possible to separate, label, check and, if needed, to even select folding boxes of very different sizes on a complex system outside of the production line.
Just like a modular system, you can combine different labeling technologies and camera systems with the UDA-150S. Depending on the customer’s requirement, the inkjet, laser, hot-stamping module and/or thermal transfer printer can easily be integrated.
Fine-adjustable photo lenses scan the folding boxes in order to obtain the exact position for the marking. The reliable coding systems from KBA-Metronic for the printing of EAN or data matrix code, expiry date, batch number etc. on the folding boxes as well as the use of track & trace systems for product safety and traceability offer miscellaneous possibilities to meet the quality requirements on safe packaging.
The UDA 150-S already processes small and medium runs with material sizes from 30x60 mm to 300x400 mm in a cost-efficient and flexible way.

Print & Apply Systems
Just-in-time production processes coupled with smaller stock holding levels and computerised stock control systems, are placing ever-increasing demands on a manufacturers ability to apply unique identification labels to individual products, whether it be for identification in retail outlets or logistical purposes. From printing and applying a small bar code label onto a blister pack, through to pallet labelling using A5 labels, (bigger print areas up to 220mm width x 500mm long using the HERMA T70 printer are available), there is a HERMA TT print and apply unit to suit every possible requirement.
In common with all of our labelling systems, our HERMA TT print & apply solutions are based upon a comprehensive range of tried and tested state of the art modules. A wide spectrum of printers and application units dovetail together to provide the perfect solution for even the most demanding of requirements.
On demand printing is not rocket science but it can be confusing, so with this in mind our Windows based "MecWin" software has been developed to make it child's play to design and modify a label format. With simple commands text, graphics and barcodes etc can be added at a stroke and printed at up to 300 mm per second.

AEW Delford Systems has extended its range of labellers with the addition of the C3 Panel Label Applicator. This robustly built, user-friendly Label Applicator offers wrap around labelling of self-adhesive labels onto two or three sides of a tray or container.
The pack is driven through the conveyor by powered side belts and a unique brush wiper assembly ensures 100% adhesion of the label onto the pack.
The C3 Panel Label Applicator applies pre-printed labels. When a thermal transfer printer is incorporated additional information, such as bar code, sell by and nutritional details, can be put onto the label prior to it being applied to the pack.
The C3 can also be interfaced to a weigh price labeller or with AEW Delford System’s integral weighing unit, where variable information on a pack by pack basis, is forwarded to the C3 panel labeller and information is printed accordingly.
