Alphasense Carbon Monoxide sensors operate using well-known fuel cell technology. The CO-BF contains a chemical filter to remove cross-interferants such as SOx, NOx and H2S. The Alphasense CO-B series offers our leak-free guarantee and good, reliable detection performance. The leakproof housing is moulded in colour coded plastic for ease of identification.
Our unique ATAV test and validation system enables us to perform customised testing to customer requirements, eg we can test 100% of all our CO-BF sensors for hydrogen response. Figaro's carbon monoxide sensor TGS5042 is a battery operable electrochemical sensor which offers several advantages over traditional electrochemical sensors: its electrolyte is environmentally friendly, it poses no risk of electrolyte leakage, it does not consume active materials or its electrodes during operation, and it has lower sensitivity to interference gases. With long life, good long term stability, and high accuracy, this sensor is an ideal choice for CO detectors with digital display. TGS 3870 is Figaro's new metal oxide semiconductor gas sensor for the detection of both methane and carbon monoxide. Using a micro-bead gas sensing structure, both methane and carbon monoxide can be detected with a single sensor element by periodic application of two different heater voltages (high and low). Miniaturization of the gas sensing bead results in a heater power consumption of only 38mW (average).
TGS 3870 has low sensitivity to alcohol vapors (a typical interference gas in the residential environment) and has high durability, making the sensor ideal for consumer market gas alarms.

Monoxor® III
The Monoxor III offers service technicians the easiest and most affordable way to locate CO in ambient air as well as stack gases.
Bacharach's Monoxor III is a continuous sampling instrument that quickly and accurately measures levels of CO between 0 and 2,000 ppm. The LMC-J-0050-x is an opto-electronic distance measuring module for industrial application. The device uses a contact less measurement technique based on comparative phase measurement with amplitude modulation. The laser diode has a divergence of 0.6 mrad for measurement with pinpoint accuracy.
The measurement data is available through different interfaces for further processing. A digital switching output and an analogue output (4..20mA) are also available. The sensor alignment can easily be achieved using the red laser spot.
The sensor is built in a IP 66 housing which is made for heavy industry area. It includes a special dust protection chamber, which keeps the sensor window much longer clean. As ad on, water cooling and air purge nozzles are available. A heat filter is already built in.

The laser distance-meter LMC-J-0310 is robustly engineered especially for industrial applications. It works at distances up to 3000 m. Up to 300m and more (depending on target reflectivity) no special reflector is needed. Measuring values are provided continuously via the integrated RS422/RS232 or analogue 4..20 mA interfaces. As option, ProfiBus and SSI interface is available. In this way the device is providing position and velocity information during the production process.
The LMC-J-0310 can be used in distance and speed measurement mode. All measuring parameters are adjustable. The high measuring speed allows the distance measurement of extremely fast moving objects.
The operation principle of the LMC-J-0310 is time delay measurement, the measuring time is adjustable between 0,5 and 1000 ms (a special version with 0,1ms is also available). Within a fraction of second one distance measurement is obtained by means of several hundreds or thousands of individual measures.

The sensor alignment can be easily achieved with the help of the red pilot laser. The Measuring range is on any natural surface between 0,2 to 30m, for 30 to 100m it depends on the surface reflectivity coefficient.
