The World's Smallest Ccd imaging sensors for Endoscopy.
1.8mm and 3mm Miniature CCD Video Industrial cameras.
Medigus offers miniature color CCD video cameras for endoscopy in 3mm x 3mm and 1.8mm x 1.8mm formats. Both cameras provide excellent image quality. The 1.8mm camera is the smallest CCD video camera in the world.
The cameras are ready-for-integration into endoscopes and are suitable as visualization devices for companies that wish to develop their own flexible and rigid video endoscopes. The uniquely designed patent-protected camera head allows for decreased endoscope diameters for visualizing hard-to-access locations that are otherwise not visible.
The cameras are the proprietary technology of Medigus. All cameras and optics are assembled at Medigus facilities, which were designed specifically for this purpose. State-of-the-art optical testing equipment is utilized throughout the manufacturing process of the cameras.
The cameras are used in existing endoscopes manufactured by many large and small scale companies, including amongts others major medical device companies. In addition, Medigus offers endoscope design and manufacturing services, using its cameras as well as other proprietary technologies.

The 1/10" sensor is an interline CCD solid state image detector suitable for PAL ultra-small color industrial cameras. Ye, Cy, Mg and G complementary color mosaic filters are used.
At the same time, high sensibility and low dark current are achieved through the adoption of Super HAD CCD technology. This chip features a field period readout system and an electronic shutter with variable charge-storage time.
Recommended range of exit pupil distance: -4mm to -10mm.

| Our lenses with focal length from 6.3 to 90 mm can be used for technical applications like inspection, imaging and micro-projection. These small lenses are especially developed for high resolution images. They have got fixed aperture. Using a c-mount or cs-mount adapter our standard objectives are suitable for video industrial cameras. Modificatinos and technical changes can be made on your demand. We would be pleased to welcome you at Qioptiq GmbH for expert advise or demonstration of our products |

Miniature CCD/CMOS lenses are designed to provide optimal image performance for a variety of applications using CCD/CMOS imaging sensors. Typical consumer product applications include: industrial digital cameras, PC industrial cameras, cell phone and PDA cameras, security cameras, etc. Typical industrial applications include: inspection, bio-metric security, scanning, bar-code reading, etc.
Sunex CCD/CMOS lenses are mostly multi-element designs that are computer optimized to provide the optimal trade-offs between various performance parameters and cost. We use plastic, glass and glass/plastic hybrid elements depending on the performance and environmental requirement. Glass lenses, in general, provides higher image quality and are more stable environmentally than plastic or hybrid lenses.
Lenses are available for 3-5 Megapixel, 2 Megapixel, 1.3 Megapixel, and VGA type sensors.
