The World's Smallest Video Cameras.
Medigus offers the world's smallest micro cameras. The current offering includes a new revolutionary disposable CMOS camera, which has an outer diameter of only 1.2mm x 5mm long and is by far the smallest camera in the world. In addition the company offers reusable CCD cameras in two sizes: 3.0mm x 3.0mm and 1.8mm x 1.8mm.
The outer diameter size of the recently announced revolutionary disposable camera is only 1.2mm x 5mm long and it by far the smallest video camera in the world. The camera, which is based on an advanced CMOS image sensor, offers high performance at a low cost and combines superb sensitivity, resolution and dynamic sensitivity. The camera is completely disposable eliminating the need for the very costly sterilization process commonly associated with endoscopic procedures. As such, the camera is designed to be incorporated into disposable endoscopes or used in various diagnostic and surgical medical procedures.
The camera is also suitable for industrial applications and can be integrated into borescope, devices for Remote Visual Inspection (RVI), Non-destructive Testing (NDT), Machine Vision systems etc.
In addition, Medigus' CCD cameras (3.0mm x 3.0mm and 1.8mm x 1.8mm) offer excellent image quanlity and are suitable for both medical and industrial applications.

The 1/10" sensor is an interline CCD solid state image sensor suitable for PAL ultra-small color cameras. Ye, Cy, Mg and G complementary color mosaic filters are used.
At the same time, high sensibility and low dark current are achieved through the adoption of Super HAD CCD technology. This chip features a field period readout system and an electronic shutter with variable charge-storage time.
Recommended range of exit pupil distance: -4mm to -10mm.

Our lenses with focal length from 6.3 to 90 mm can be used for technical applications like inspection, imaging and micro-projection. These small lenses are especially developed for high resolution images. They have got fixed aperture. Using a c-mount or cs-mount adapter our standard objectives are suitable for video cameras. Modificatinos and technical changes can be made on your demand. We would be pleased to welcome you at Qioptiq GmbH for expert advise or demonstration of our products

Miniature CCD/CMOS lenses are designed to provide optimal image performance for a variety of applications using CCD/CMOS imaging sensors. Typical consumer product applications include: digital cameras, PC cameras, cell phone and PDA cameras, security cameras, etc. Typical industrial applications include: inspection, bio-metric security, scanning, bar-code reading, etc.
Sunex CCD/CMOS lenses are mostly multi-element designs that are computer optimized to provide the optimal trade-offs between various performance parameters and cost. We use plastic, glass and glass/plastic hybrid elements depending on the performance and environmental requirement. Glass lenses, in general, provides higher image quality and are more stable environmentally than plastic or hybrid lenses.
Lenses are available for 3-5 Megapixel, 2 Megapixel, 1.3 Megapixel, and VGA type sensors.
