The VC-2100/3100 vibration comparator can be used in vibration measurement application in which vibration-based judgment required such as go/no-go vibration measurement of product, facilities diagnosis, machine tool cutting tool damage and so on. Combined with an acceleration pickup, it may provide a full range of functions, from vibration detection through measurement and diagnosis, in a single package.
By employing a digital signal processor (DSP) in the VC series vibration comparator,
high-speed computation can be realized, using digital processing technology.
From the output signal of an acceleration sensor, the VC series simultaneously detects and discriminates different frequencies in 2 bands (VC-2100) or 3 bands (VC-3100).
Furthermore, The VC series features "visual and audio" checking functions. To check vibration levels, the VC series offers a function that enables vibration to be heard by connecting headphones as well as on-screen numerical displays and bar graphs.
Besides this, the "comparator gate input function" enabling only the necessary vibration phenomenon can be extracted by controlling the timing signals from a sequencer.
All of these functions are packed into a compact DIN size (96mm X 96mm). |

The DS-2000 Series is a B5-paper-size signal analysis system that weighs as little as 2.5 kg and has achieved the top level of downsizing and lightening among its counterparts in the same class.
It analyzes data accurately and securely through 24-bit A/D conversion over a 100-dB dynamic range, primarily in the application fields of sound and vibration. As a PC-based measurement system, it plays the dual role of data recording and analysis, and readily supports the creation of reports on measured data.
In addition to being lightweight and small in size, this new type of data station offers excellent performance, functionality, and scalability, and as a result can be used easily in the field to perform highly accurate analyses. |

The MSX-Box (Measurement Solution eXtended) is a realtime embedded system for networked control, regulation and acquisition of measurement data. Equipped with standard components like PCI backplane, PCI I/O board, CPU etc. the MSX-Box works without wearing parts like hard disk, drive, keyboard, mouse etc. It saves place and therefore can be integrated easily into small 19" racks or mounted on a rail.
In the MSX-Box also further PCI measurement boards that are available on the market can be integrated.
Via Ethernet (TCP/IP) or RS232 interfaces measurement data can be exchanged with other systems. An IP-address can be specified for the system. Furthermore, the MSX-Box supports server functions so that the system status or current processes of remote computers can be called.
Further interfaces are optionally available:
1 x RS232 or 1 x RS485 optically isolated as well as a field bus interface and 1 x profibus slave or rather 2 x interbus and up to 8 CAN interfaces.
The CPU (MIPS 64 bit processor), developed by Addi-Data, was chosen with the intention to grant a long-term availability of the PCI-I/O boards and herewith the durability of the applications.

Measurement Computing today announced the release of three new 1-MHz, 16-bit multifunction USB data acquisition devices, and a cost-saving expansion module for high channel count applications. The USB-1616HS, the USB-1616HS-2, and the USB-1616HS-4 deliver outstanding performance with synchronous analog, digital, and frequency I/O in one compact package. The AI-EXP48 plug-in expansion module coupled with any of the USB-1616HS series modules can quadruple the analog input channel count.
The USB-1616HS series modules have a unique, low-latency control output mode, whereby any input—analog, digital, or counter, can control an output—digital, analog, or timer, based on pre-defined limits, including hysteresis. The outputs are controlled directly from the USB-1616HS series module, and do not require PC intervention. This results in response times that are measured in microseconds instead of milliseconds
The USB-1616HS series offers extensive trigger options, ranging from analog trigger with 1 µs max latency, to multichannel triggering, where any combination of analog, digital, and counter input channels can be combined to initiate the trigger. Other trigger modes include digital pattern, level, edge, inside/outside window, and pre- and post-trigger.
