The PPI line of diaphragm compressors includes single and multi-stage diaphragm compressor models with displacements to 400 cfm (680 m3/hr) and pressures to 30,000 psi (2000 bar). A variety of head closure designs, power-frames, accessories, and materials of construction allow us to match a diaphragm compressor to most process parameters.
The metal diaphragm group of the diaphragm compressor isolates the process gas from the hydraulic fluid and all lubricated parts to ensure purity. Ultrafram diaphragm technology and proprietary cavity design provide unmatched diaphragm life.
Diaphragm Compressors are used for cylinder filling, hydrogen fuel cell technology, or transfer of high purity or dangerous gases under pressure, without contamination or leakage. Since 1954, PPI diaphragm compressors have been specified to provide non-contaminating, leak tight compression.
A leader in hydrogen fuel cell technology, Pressure Products, Inc. (PPI) has the hydrogen compressor system that is sure to meet your requirements. Developed for reliability and longevity, a hydrogen gas compressor from PPI allows you to have more control over using the element, hydrogen. Our hydrogen compressor efficiency systems are greatly sought after with nearly 70% of compressors being sold by PPI as hydrogen compressors. Recognized for our high-impact safety features that are included with our state-of-the-art hydrogen compressors, and leak-tight compression, there are many benefits to hydrogen fuel cell technology from PPI.

Burton Corblin® compressor
Range of performance
• Inlet volume: 200 m3/h (117 cfm)
• Power: 400 kW (540 hp)
• Discharge pressure: 3000 bar (43500 psi)
The high pressure technology
• compact design. High pressure rise reached in few stages thanks to a design allowing high volumetric efficiencies
• keep gas original cleanliness level. The compression chamber totally isolated proposes the most performing gas confining technology. Contamination-free compression ensured
• ability for protecting compressor environment from a contamination by the compressed gas thanks to its fully isolated chamber
• safety system controlling the eventual rupture of one of the three diaphragms ensuring fluids confinement integrity
• optimized design based on a wide experience with hundreds of compressor packages operating in production sites, laboratories, handling light, heavy, high purity, rare, toxic, flammable, corrosive, explosive, radioactive gases..
• customized technical analysis of your project as soon as initiated
• complete «plug&play» packages integrating control systems, gas treatment equipments and regulation equipments
• easy maintenance operations mostly handled by the operators themselves
• after sales: Serviceman on site, spare parts, compressor up grade and revamping

HySTAT™ COMPRESSION MODULE
The pressure at which the HySTAT™ Hydrogen Generator module delivers hydrogen is often suitable for direct use in industrial applications however higher hydrogen output pressures are frequently required for vehicle refueling and power applications.
The standard HySTAT Compression Module, which features a diaphragm compressor, raises pressure to 430 bar (620 psi). Other compressor types, including reciprocating, can be integrated into the module as part of an optional package. The HySTAT Compression Module offers many unique features & benefits:
