MULTIFIRE® Industrial Burners incorporate a nozzle-mix refractory block design capable of "on-ratio" firing over a broad range of operating conditions. The dual fuel capability allows MULTIFIRE® Burners to fire on either gas or oil. Maximum application flexibility is provided with five different sizes and "on-ratio" capacities up to 17,500,000 Btu/hr per burner. In addition, MULTIFIRE® Gas Burners atomize fuel oils with
low pressure combustion air eliminating the need
for compressed air or steam. |

These are burners with two progressive stages which, when used with a controler PID, becomes modulating.
The turndown ratio is 1 : 3 when they are burning oil and can reach 1 : 10 with gas.
For these two fuels, the management of the air-fuel mix can be mechanical, pneumatic (AGP® system) or electronic (GEM® system).
All our burners can be fitted with low NOx class III combustion heads, guaranteeing low emission in accordance with European standards EN 676 and EN 267.
The RTC® system completes the equipment of these burners.
It gives them:
- total accessibility, an essential characteristic of simple and easy maintenance: the combustion components are completely removed from the combustion head, regardless of its length, in a single manoeuvre,
- integral backup of the combustion adjustments,
- quick cleaning facilitated by compact mechanical components.
- time saving thanks to the use of standard bolts and unions. |

More specifically adapted to the industrial process, these burners with separate fans are available with two progressive stages and are modulating, via the use of an electronic regulator (PID).
Minimum of 1 : 3 when burning liquid fuels and can reach 1 : 10 or more with gases.
The air-fuel mix can be controled mechanically or electronically (GME® system).
In order to guarantee the minimum level of polluting waste, these burners can be fitted with low NOx class III combustion heads, complying with European standards EN 676 and EN 267, or with a combustion gas recirculation (RGC® system).
They burn all current liquid or gaseous fuels. The can also burn all kinds of liquid or gaseous products either to benefit from their calorific energy or to dispose of them by pyrolysis (EDP® system). This can be done with the product alone or by mixing it in the flame.
The separate fan and the possibility of modelling the shape of the flame (FGV® system) means that CP burners can be adapted to the exact needs of the generator or industrial process.
This fan offers all the known advantages of separate treatment of the combustion air:
- increased accessibility to the heat generator,
- quieter operation either via fan speed control (Variatron®), or via a silencer on the air inlet,
- the possibility of reheating, drying or humidifying the combustion air. |

Fully modulating versions using proven technology of variable
speed motor control and fuel/air ratio gas control valves
are also available in the Hamworthy range of monobloc burners.
Oil and gas fired versions also incorporate a suitable
oil pump and gas train respectively, the latter including governor, automatic shut-off valves, gas cock and test point.
Pilot assemblies, where fitted, also include governor,
automatic shut-off valves and gas cock. |
