The MAPAL WELLACH floating holders were designed to allow high speed reamers to be used to their full extent. Radial and angular alignment is precisely defined and preset.
This produces a reliable function even at high feed rates.
This then reduces costs, the results fo the batch remain constant and scrap and reworking kept to a minimum. Because of the narrow design and small diameter of the head, the clearance distance for multi-spindle use is reduced. Because no parts are worn, there is no need to keep cost-intensive stocks of spares.
