Fall Harness to EN-361, fall arrest harness, fall arrest lanyard, fall protection equipments.
A safety harness is a form of protective equipment designed to protect a person, animal, or object from injury or damage. The harness is an attachment between a stationary and non-stationary object and is usually fabricated from rope, cable or webbing and locking hardware. Some safety harnesses are used in combination with a shock absorber, which is used to regulate deceleration when the end of the rope is reached.

Harnesses designed for every type of work
Harnesses are the direct interface between the worker and the protection system. It should provide the worker with a maximum amount of safety without hindering their movement.
Petzl has several types of harness for different work situations. Accessories allow to adapt harnesses for specific needs.
work positioning and fall arrest harnesses,
work positioning sit harnesses,
chest harnesses,
fall arrest harnesses,
special rescue harnesses,
accessories.
The Petzl difference
1- 2- DoubleBack and FAST buckles: quick to put on and adjust
All Petzl harnesses have adjustable shoulder straps, waist belts and leg loops. All adjustment buckles use the DoubleBack self-locking system. With this system, the webbing does not need to be rethreaded to secure the buckles - they can be adjusted with a single motion.
Certain harnesses are equipped with the FAST automatic buckles on the leg loops. Once adjusted, these buckles easily and quickly open and close - the harness can be put on without undoing all the buckles.
3- Lightweight and comfortable
Petzl harnesses are particularly lightweight - now wearing a harness is no longer a constraint. Work positioning harnesses are made with perforated foam for breathability.
The foam-padded shoulder straps offer improved comfort and curve around the neck to reduce friction points. The harness is also easier to put on.
Thermo-molded waist belt support at lumbar region for excellent comfort when suspended.
4- 5- Simplicity
Our large, contoured attachment points are easy to clip.
Three gear loops : one on each side and one at the rear.
Thin, rigid gear loops facilitate attaching carabiners.
Waist belt equipped with numerous slots for tool carriers (CARITOOL).
The rear buckle connects TOP chest harness to SIT harness. Weight carried on the waist belt is transferred to the shoulder straps. A restraint lanyard can be clipped to the buckle.

SOLID EDGE Wiring Harness
Solid Edge Wire Harness Design is a dedicated process driven environment for the efficient creation, routing and organization of wires, cables and bundles in a Solid Edge assembly. Wire Harness Design allows electrical and mechanical design teams to collaborate on designs to create complete and accurate digital mockups containing both mechanical and electrical components, and removes the need for expensive physical prototypes. Design violations such as exceeding physical bundle size or a bend radius being too tightly routed are constantly monitored as the harness is being designed; live feedback immediately displays any problems. Reporting of cable and wire cut length and attributes (allowing for a slack percentage and wire stripping) are captured during the harness design process. The export of ready-to-use 'net list' files adds these mechanical attributes to generate harness designs that are ready for manufacturing.
Automatic wire harness design
Once electrical engineers have developed and proven their designs using electrical prototypes (a task becoming increasingly important as the size and complexity of electrical systems increase), the harness wizard allows mechanical engineers to automatically generate and route physical wires and cables. The harness wizard uses input from dedicated electrical schematics applications such as Mentor Graphics, Cimteam and Vesys to automatically transfer any net-list components and connections to Solid Edge.
