COMBINED SHRINK-HOODING MACHINE MOD. FTB 419
It is able to offer the hooding and the heat shrinking of goods stacked on pallets thanks to a single machine, reducing the space of installation. The action of hooding is carried out from a reel of tubolar shrink film and the heat shrinking is carried out by air partially recycled in a stainless steel ring. This machine works with every type of low-pressure gas reducing at the most the waste of energy. There is the possibility of fitting an appliance in that raises pallets allowing the thermoretractile film to fix itself on the lowest part of pallets.

501 : for pre-cut pallet covers on rolls. The hood is separated at the perforation.

The fully automatic MSK Tensiontech F stretch hood applicator with its special film stretching process makes it possible for all the common sizes of industrial pallets to be packed with just one film tube. The stretching of the film is regulated in a targeted manner for each pallet size so that optimum load securing properties are achieved in each case.

The pallet stretch hooding machine enables the protection and stabilisation of palletized loads by the application of an elastic hood on 5 sides.
The hood is manufactured from a polyethylene tubular film with a gusset. It is cut to the length corresponding to the measured height of the pallet.
The hood is mechanically stretched to then be released over the load.
This method of hood application is particularly important because it does not use any heat source (the hood is not shrunk) and at a clearly lower operating cost than that of shrink wrapping.

It’s a stretch cold extension machine with extensible film as far as a tubular coil, a model with one coil. The cover fitting is suitable for every type of product because there are not flames or warm air. This plant links the thermoretractiles qualities concerning the pallets seal, the protection against some atmospheric agents (water and dust) and the practical use of the extensible film. This machine is available in four models, according to the customers needs.

The automatic hooding machine mod. AT53 packs palletized products with tubular heat shrinking film. The hot air release linear gas burners are desigined to work both with methane and propane gas, ( validation number DG2217 BL 0557) released by the German Gas Institute, valid throughout the entire European Community.
The rear part of the machine prepares the bags, while the front part carries out the actual hooding/heat shrinking. The AT53 machine is available with one, two or three coils with tubular film with the same and/or different formats. All functions are managed by a PLC which controls all automatic and manual operations. An operator is needed only to change the film coil.

Automatic stretch hood machine. The product is protected on 4 sides and the top, ensuring a high level of protection from mechanical damage, moisture and vermin.
The film "cap" both protects and stabilizes the product.
The design of the Robohood allows the film "tube" to be stretched to accomodate different sizes of the product and completely enclose it; paddles can create a range of bag profiles with different proportions between the pallet base sides, regardless of the shape, either square or rectangular.
The stable sides of the hood make it an excellent tool for "branding".

The space-saving Combined Shrink Wrapping Machine is a machine where hood application

Shrinking of the film takes place by means of natural gas, liquid gas or electricity.
The LACHENMEIER gas burners are lamella burners, which ensure an even distribution over the entire burner surface. Furthermore, our burners are individually adjustable, which means that we guarantee an even heat distribution to all four sides of the load in case of variations in product dimension.

Pallet security with shrink-wrap film has proven its area of application for very heavy shipping units and multiple pallet handling.
The film cover, which becomes very stiff after shrinking, especially in the case of greater film-thicknesses, withstands considerable stress caused by accelerative forces. This process is advised for very unstable loads, weatherproofing requirements and strong storage constraints.
It consists in forming a hood thanks to a sealing process from a film's reel of a big diameter (usually 1 000 mmm) and to dispose it on the load.
With the shrink technology, once the hood has been disposed and the film heated, the hood is being shrinked so that it suits the best the load.

The wrapping system with Metral stretchable plastic wrap provides the best value-for-money on the market, thanks to the film lengthening that is obtained. It can be installed in reduced spaces, does not require the generation of heat by combustion and can reach production rates of 100 pallets/hour.

Multi Flex
The Multi Flex machine is characterised by its great flexibility, as the machine is capable of wrapping all pallet sizes ranging from 1/4 and 1/2 to 1/1 pallets in one machine with automatic change between the different pallet sizes and without compromising with load stability.
The flexibility lies in the gripper system, where each of the four grippers can be adjusted indi-
vidually both lengthways and widthways and thus adapt to the actual load size.
The Multi Flex machine has a capacity of 180+ pallet loads per hour.

The stretchood machine is especially designed for pallets loaded with sacks or big bags. The stretchood is absolutely waterproof and therefore gives optimal protection against all weather conditions as well as localised dust ingress. Stretching the hood utilises "film memory" which provides pallet load stabilisation for more assured transportation.

Möllers automatic transverse stretch hooders use the security potential of the stretch film in the most effective way: The tubular film hood is radially stretched to the drawn width, with the resultant retractive force the film is tightened around the pallet load during positioning. Through the development of the patented High-Expander and Ultrastretch technologies Möllers was able to significantly improve the transverse stretch hood process.
With the highly extensible films used here considerably higher tensile strengths have been achieved, which significantly improve the load integrity and the bond between load and pallet compared to the stretch films originally used. Further advantages of the modern stretch process are the suitability of a single tubular film width for all usual pallet formats and the reduced film consumption of up to 30 %.

High Speed Line - Speed Flex
The Speed Flex operates as the Combi Flex but is divided into a two-step process. In the Hood Applicator, the film hood is automatically applied over the load. Then the load is conveyed into the Easy Flex, where the shrinking takes places.
The shrink lines described above are combined units, but as all our machines have a modular design, each unit can also act as stand-alone machine depending on customer requirements.
The capacity of the Speed Flex is 200+ loads an hour.
