H2scan believes that protecting lives means being able to locate and find a hydrogen leak as quickly as possible. With two sensing elements on the same semiconductor die, the HY-ALERTA™ 500 can detect hydrogen leaks as
low as 15ppm and will not saturate or be destroyed when detecting concentrations of hydrogen up to 100%. The flexible umbilical allows the sensor probe access to virtually all potential leak sources.

Hydrogen Specific Area Monitor is used to alert that an area is free from the risk of hydrogen explosion. Unlike the combustible LEL sensors, the H2 spedific sensor has 0% false alarm rates.
A new explosion proof model with remote Infra red remote control operation is available from H2scan
H2scan’s HY-ALERTA™ 600 Fixed Area Hydrogen Monitor provides hydrogen-specific leakage detection and measurement for hydrogen concentrations as low as 4000ppm and can be scaled to any concentration up to 5% hydrogen by volume, a range representing 10% to 125% of hydrogen’s low flammability limit. The monitor is
designed for either ceiling or wall mount and has an RS422 capability that extends the interface from the sensor to the controller to several hundred feet. H2scan's hydrogen-specific sensor technology has no cross sensitivity to other combustible gases, thus eliminating false positive alarms and ensuring safety system reliability.

TGS821 Semiconductor type
Figaro semiconductor type sensor TGS821 has high sensitivity to low concentrations of hydrogen. Even at 100ppm of hydrogen, the sensor can detect the target gas with good repeatability and long term stability. Figaro's unique sensor technology makes this sensor highly selective to hydrogen. TGS821 utilizes a durable ceramic housing that makes it ideal for industrial applications which involve transformer maintenance or usage of professional batteries. This sensor is also appropriate for checking gas leakage within a supplier of fuel cell system.
TGS6812 Catalytic type
Figaro's catalytic type sensor TGS6812 can detect levels of hydrogen up to 100%LEL. This sensor features high accuracy, good durability and stability, quick response, and linear output. This sensor can detect not only hydrogen but also methane and LP gas, making it an excellent solution for monitoring gas leakage from stationary fuel cell systems which use hydrogen that is transformed by combustible gases. Due to an adsorbent inside its sensor cap, the cross sensitivity of TGS6812 to alcohol is much smaller than can be found in traditional catalytic type sensors. In addition, TGS6812 is more durable against silicone compounds than the traditional catalytic type sensors.
The FCM6812 combustible gas transducer module is a new
unit which utilizes TGS6812, Figaro's catalytic pellistor
type gas sensor which features durability, stability, and
quick gas response. Calibrated under strictly controlled
environmental conditions at Figaro's factory, this module
provides analog output voltage proportional to hydrogen
gas concentration. FCM6812 is resin coated for
waterproofing and electrical insulation purposes, and also
is also capable of detecting sensor wire breakage. The
unit has a wide range of operating temperature from -10°
to +60°C.
Because the TGS6812 sensor can detect methane and
LP gas as well as hydrogen, this module is suitable for
gas leakage detection in stationary fuel accumulators which use
hydrogen generated from combustible gases.
