For over 30 years, our magnet lifters have been a mainstay for operator safety when using mechanical power presses. Using a magnetic lifter allows machine operators to feed and retrieve blanks, stampings or formed metal and steel parts without placing their hands in the point of operation. OSHA recognizes the use of such hand tools and notes that they should be used in conjunction with appropriate guards and machine safeguarding devices.
Today, magnet lifters are used in conjunction with laser and plasma metal cutting machinery. Our magnetic lifters are extremely helpful to remove both cut parts and scrap parts from the cutting deck.
Especially useful have been the custom magnetic tools that All-Vac has made for its customers, including handle lengths that are both shorter and longer than our standard sizes. RAPID
With the simple motion of a lever, the magnetism lifts, transports and releases the load with extreme rapidity, needing only a single operator. It does not compress or deform the load, rather, it allows plenty of motion even with limited spaces.
SAFE
Once activated, a spring-loaded device blocks the manoeuvring lever, thus preventing any possible accidental deactivation. The technique defined as neutral crown will not permit interference with the original state of the permanent magnets, thus allowing to obtain maximum results in terms of safety and reliability.
ECONOMIC
The Tecnomagnete manual lifters are based on the technology of permanent magnets, therefore do not need electrical feeding. They are resistant to usage: the only movable component present is a rotor which is centred on ball bearings. This in turn develops neither physical contacts nor any friction during the rotation phase. Within normal working conditions they can be “maintenance free” over a long period of time.

LONGITUDINAL ELECTRO LIFTING MAGNETS
These magnets are used to lift bundles of material with an irregular surface, which complicates lifting operations. Longitudinal magnets, however, have a particularly deep penetration field that makes them unsusceptible to such irregularities. This enable safe and effortless transport of bundles of material. Moreover, two or more of these magnets can be used, depending on the length of the bundles. In the event that people are present in the lifting area, however, extra mechanical slings must be fitted for safety purposes.

BATTERY OPERATED ELECTRO LIFTING MAGNETS
In the event that you wish to transport workpieces over, without access to a mains power supply, then battery-powered lifting magnets may be the solution. Your workpiece can be transferred from crane to crane or from one forklift truck to another without the load being dropped. The magnets are powered by a battery. Controls are fitted to the magnet for easy operation. The battery-powered magnet is available with a lifting capacity of up to 1000 kg. These magnets can also be equiped with wireless remote control.

Operating principle / Technical details:
H-LIFT permanent magnets operate independently of a power supply. Due to the specific arrangement of a group of permanent magnets, the magnet field lines act on the magnet pole and the load, or are deflected in the magnet housing so that the poles are not magnetised. In position "ON", the magnetic field lines are guided via the poles through the load. The magnet is active. In position "OFF", the magnet pole surfaces are neutral and the magnet is therefore switched off. The load lifting magnet consists of individual standardized components. The inside of the magnet comprises the actual magnet system consisting of a reversing magnet system, the magnet assembly and the magnet poles.

ROUND LIFTING MAGNETS
Electromagnets are intended for lifting mechanisms to catch and shift the cold ferromagnetic loads: scrap metal, charge, cuttings, metal bars, pigs, slabs, etc.
These lifting electromagnets can operate on the traverse.
Electromagnets are recommended for installation on light and mobile excavators such as FUCHS, LIEBHERR, ATLAS, SENNEBOGEN, CAT, ZEPPELIN, KOVROVETS etc. complete with a generating control system and a special traverse that ensures the use of an electromagnet without removing the grab.
All electromagnets can be produced as heat-resistant (to lift loads of the temperature as high as 600°C) and for underwater works.

Electropermanent magnets utilize permanent magnetic material surrounded by an electrically powered coil. To energize an electropermanent magnet, a momentary pulse of D. C. power is applied to the magnet's coil in order to charge the permanent magnetic material within. Once energized, the electropermanent magnet does not require a constant source of power to retain the lifted steel coil. To release the steel coil, a reverse pulse of D. C. power is applied to the magnet's coil. The Electropermanent magnet design tends to excel when the steel coil's edge stagger is kept to a minimum.

CM-400, CM-800 TOTERS
The TOTER is a compact, self-contained, lifting magnet which uses permanent magnets that maintain holding power indefinitely. Within the steel housing are powerful ceramic magnets whose field is controlled by the "on-off" position of the handle. Because no electric power is required, TOTERS can operate completely free of the restriction of power cords, and can be used where electric power is not readily available.
Recommended Applications

Rated Lift Capacity
The maximum rated lift is based upon lifting clean, smooth, flat, low-carbon steel plate, 1 1/2" or thicker with the full area of the magnet's lifting surface in contact with the load.
