It's a user-friendly product (same usage as the common saw dust) with unique features. Just think that OKO PUR can even absorb oil in the water, forming big agglomerates easy to be recovered. In this way OKO PUR reduces the oil content in the polluted water of more than 95%. OKO PUR is available both as powder and as granules.
OKO PUR has got an enormous absorption capacity: a 8 kg bag absorbs 30/80 kg of liquids.
OKO PUR, both as powder and as granules, has been certified as excellent sorbent for heavy traffic pavements. German Home Office (BMI), in the paragraph called "Removal of the oil rests on heavy traffic pavements" specifies that after making use of sorbents for the elimination of the polluting substance and the following polishing with a water-detergent mixture, the pavement must afford again a good sealing power, in any case not lower than 80% of the original value, especially if it?s damp.
THE TEST MADE WITH OKO PUR GAVE 0% DIFFERENCE IN SEALING POWER. PRACTICALLY THE PAVEMENT HAS RECOVERED ITS ORIGINAL SEALING POWER. THIS IS A SURPRISING RESULT WHICH PUTS OKO PUR AT THE TOP OF THE SORBENTS RANKING.
In carrying out the obligations laid down from the Italian Home Office, the local Districts prescribe that on road pavements only approved sorbents with MPA-IIIR certificate can be used. Each OKO PUR bag has got the approval label.

This means that 1 kg of oil absorbent material absorbs up to 20 kg of oil in less than 30 seconds. Available in different weights and measures either rolls or sheets.

Booms/Socks
Oil absorbent materials able to separate oils and hydrocarbons from water available in two different kinds:
Marine boom, equipped with steel fixing rings and hooks to reach the needed length. External net grants better resistance amplified by a strengthening rope. Available in different diameters and lengths.
Ground socks (with no fixing rings and hooks) suitable in containing small spills on all industrial surfaces.
Bilge booms
Bilge booms employed to absorb oil on water surface in tanks, wells, and bilges. Easily employed because equipped with a connecting slot to a rope.
