Example:
-JUMO LOGOSCREEN 500 cf Entry-level Paperless Recorder with CompactFlash card and life-cycle data management (70.6510)
Measurement data presented numerically as vertical diagrams (with scaling,
numerical display, or as a bar graph)
Presentation of event traces such as "Binary inputs"
On-site availability of measurements in the FLASH memory
Measurement data are retained, even after a power interruption
Saving of data sets on the CompactFlash card
Instrument configuration through the keys or the setup program(CompactFlash card or interface)
Evaluation of archived data with PC evaluation program
Search function for history analysis
Adaptation of the memory cycles to the specific process, using normal,
time-of-day and event operation
Freely configurable inputs
Internal sampling rate 250msec for 3 or 6 analog inputs, minimum storage cycle 1sec
Counters and integrators (6 channels)
Math and logic module (6 channels)
integrated web server
The appearance of the LOGOSCREEN 500 cf is dominated by a 5-inch color display, in which the measurement data can be displayed in a vertical direction, similar to ordinary chart recorders. But unlike ordinary recorders, the LOGOSCREEN 500 cf does not need any chart paper for recording. Measurement data are stored electronically, and are available for evaluation on the spot as well as in the PC.
The integrated life-cycle data management ensures fast traceability of process data referred to specific installations.

The new DataChart 1250 paperless recorder features 2 user configurable inputs for measuring DC voltage, current, thermocouples, RTD’s and frequency/RPM inputs.
Four internal alarm set points can be programmed to activate the 2 SPDT relay outputs. Data is displayed in real time graphic or digital format on a bright LCD display with LED backlight. Data is stored on CompactFlashTM cards up to 2 Gig in size. Data can be reviewed, printed and exported using the optional Navigator software for Windows. Data can be stored at up to 100 samples per second for both channels. Power is supplied via A/C wall transformer or via optional internal rechargeable NiMH battery pack. |

Operating principle
Electronic measured data recording systems measure the connected input signals and extrapolate the information required for individual applications. This information is then displayed on the screen of the device and is also stored internally or on an exchangeable data storage medium.
This process information can be stored, long term, by transmission to superior systems (e.g. PCs) and is therefore readily available at the touch of a button.
Depending on the process requirement and application the following can be used:
·Data-logger : simple devices with integrated digital display
·Paperless recorders : the electronic alternative to (hybrid) paper strip chart recorders
·Data Manager : powerful devices for stand alone applications and integration into systems
Common to all these devices is that they operate virtually free of wear and tear (no pens and paper) therefore saving time and money.
By using various forms of interfaces they can be integrated into state-of-the-art topologies for measured data recording and process automation. High resolution colour graphic displays make it possible for paperless recorders and data managers to be used for front end process sequences and therefore swift on site reaction.
Mathematical and logical combinations enable complitcated calculations as well as automatic analysis of the measured signal. |
