Two models of "sewing" machines are available. These fabric sealing systems "sew" and/or slit knitted, woven, and nonwoven man-made thermoplastic materials without needle or thread. Machine configuration and the location of the horn and anvils enable flexibility and tight turns in sealing and/or cutting. This also provides an un-obstructed view of the fabric in the processing area.
Typical applications for the systems include protective garments, disposable hospital gowns, shoe covers, face masks, infants' nursery garments, filters, bags, curtains, sails, and web splicing. Sealed edges and seams with no stitch holes prevent penetration of chemicals, liquids, blood-borne pathogens, or particulates, thus providing a benefit over conventional stitching methods

80BA-HD Tyre cord sewing machine, updated with new controller and heavy duty mechanism to allow the customer greater versatility to sew more layers and eliminate the need for "tabby ends" or extra strength weaving on the ends of the loom rolls. A video and leaflet are available on request.

This machine is designed to join most fabrics wet or dry with a perfectly straight seam. The join enables continuous processing to be carried out right across the joint.
The track is of steel construction with aluminium cloth rails. The carriage is positively driven in both directions. It can be made in any width. A perfectly straight seam is sewn which prevents creases from travelling up the pieces when subjected to tension. This eliminates spoilt cloth either side of the seam. The cloth is kept in open width. The machine travels across the cloth width. Less slack cloth is needed to put the ends on the machine than a stationary machine. Materials such as flimsy knitted and stiff materials, which are difficult to handle through a stationary machine, can be easily joined. Stretchy fabrics can be pulled to full width before joining to eliminate breaking out in later processing.

Meypack Series PT
The PT...series sack closing machines from MEYPACK offer a modular system for hermetically sealed closures on paper sacks with plastic inner liners or coatings. The PT-closure is a triple seal available in standard format or with an easy open feature.
With the traditional Standard closure (PT) the multi-layer outer is stitched, a heat sealed tape is applied over the stitch line and the PE inner liner is hermetically sealed. The tape prevents the ingress of insects and other forms of contamination.
With the easy open closure (PT-SOT, stitch over tape), the inner liner is hermetically sealed by heat and a crepe tape is applied over the sack top and stitched in position. The stitching can easily be removed by hand without the use of tools and without damage to the seal.
Dual machines offer the choice of standard or easy open closure on one machine frame. The unit is equipped with two sewing heads and two tape applicators, with one of each mounted at the infeed and discharge of the machine. Changing from one closure type to the other involves a simple adjustment and can be completed in a few minutes.
