· Definition : small furnace with metal chamber that tilts into a quenching tank. For quenching or annealing applications, work under inert gas. Work under flammable gas (optional).
· Construction : furnace tilts, avoiding contact with air, and quenched items are recovered from quenching tank by grip-lever. Heating chamber, oven sole and muffle in refractory steel.
· Insulation : metal structure containing an insulating portion in ceramic fibre.
· Quenching tank : stainless steel tank for quenching liquid (oil, emulsions, solutions, salt...).
Heated by shielded resistors (oil: max 200 °C; salt: max. 450 °C).
· Heating : Electric heating muffle.
· Electricity : 230V, 50Hz.
· Regulation : Axron PID temperature controller. Timer.
· Documentation : certification CE and operating instructions in English.
