Ultraseal® ST-40HS Plastic Tube Sealers
The ST-40HS is an advanced ultrasonic tube sealing system that uses ultrasonic energy to scrub through stringers and contaminants to produce a hermetic seal on most tube materials, including laminates.
A variety of seal patterns are available with date coding easily accomplished at the time of closure.
Some of the major benefits of our ST-40HS are:
Simple installation: The ST-40's compact design is easily installed on all types of filling machines.
Reducing rejects improves productivity: The ultrasonic sealing process seals through product contamination and cuts rejects to less than 1%.
Superior cosmetic appearance: The ultrasonic process eliminates flash and 'ears' often associated with other methods.
Fast: Depending on tube size and material, the ST-40HS operates at rates of up to 80 tubes per minute.
Quick changeover: Versatile tooling requires no changes from tube style to tube style.
Quick start-up: The ultrasonic process requires no warm up time and allows immediate start-up at the beginning of a shift.
Low operating costs: The ultrasonic process is energy efficient. It only uses power when sealing, and does not have to maintain tool temperature.
