Using the new camera sensor from ipf electronic, image processing solutions which are suitable for industrial applications can be realized within a short period of time and without a great deal of previous knowledge. In a compact design, the optics, illumination equipment, image acquisition unit, image processing unit and processing interfaces are 'packed' into the small device. Even complex testing jobs can be quickly realized using the simple user-friendly operation. The camera sensor is especially suitable for jobs which do not depend upon testing which is accurate to dimension, as e.g. checking completeness, checking presence, checking a position/location as well as differentiation of types. In an area of the image measuring 122 x 78mm which is to be surveyed, the testing speed is up to 40 parts per second. The OC64 series is available for a 150, 300 und 450mm operating distance as well as with red illumination, infra-red illumination and blue illumination. The camera sensor has a high-performance processor which is specially optimized for image processing jobs as well as a 720 x 480 pixel image sensor. The precision optics and high-performance illumination are optimally co-ordinated for the respective operating distances. For communication, the sensor integrates USB, RS232 and digital interfaces. Connectable via digital inputs, the opti-check OC64 can administer several programs, each with extensive testing jobs. Apart from a ready output, there are three more digital outputs which can be freely selected.

Color Pattern matching, Measurment, OCR Vision sensor MVS series
MVS-PM is camera for pattern matching detection.
MVS-EM is camera for measurment purpose.
MVS-OCR is camera for OCR, Optical Character Recognition purpose.
These cameras are controlled by single controller MVS-DN (NPN output) or MVS-DP (PNP output) independently so you don't have to buy controller for each camera.
Each camera has 43000 pixels and multiple inspection windows can be set in a Field of View. For example, MVS-PM can have upto 16 inspection windows that can inspect in 6 different inspection tools, Color shape, Color area, Contour, Differential, Full color and Stain independently at a time. It's like having multiple cameras at single position.

The MLX90255BC linear sensor array consists of a 128 x 1 array of photodiodes, associated charge amplifier circuitry and a pixel data-hold function that provides simultaneous-integration start and stop times for all pixels. The pixels measure 200µm (H) by 66 µm (W). Operation is simplified by internal control logic that requires only a serial-input (SI) signal and a clock. The sensor consists of 128 photodiodes arranged in a linear array. Light energy falling on a photodiode generates photocurrent, which is integrated by the active integration circuitry associated with that pixel. During the integration period, a sampling capacitor connects to the output of the integrator through an analog switch. The amount of charge accumulated at each pixel is directly proportional to the light intensity and the integration time. The output and reset of the integrators is controlled by a 132-bit shift register and reset logic. An output cycle is initiated by clocking in a logic 1 on SI. This causes all 132 sampling capacitors to be disconnected from their respective integrators and starts an integrator reset period.

IST-QUADTEK® M353 Retract
Pneumatic Automatic Retract System
The IST-Quadtek high temperature imaging camera systems
are cooled by air or water. If the plant supply of air pressure,
water or electricity is interrupted the M353 Pneumatic
Automatic Retract System will retract the camera from the
most severe heat, protecting it from serious damage. With
the camera retracted from the intense heat the operator has
time to arrive at the location and manually pull the lens clear
of the viewport. Then they can track the coolant problem and
re-install the camera. The M353 works with the IST-Quadtek
Bedbug, Lynx and Spyrometer cameras, as well as cameras
of many other manufacturers.

Raytek announces the launch of its new GS110 Infrared Thermal Imaging System for Low Emissivity (Low-E) Glass. This system is specifically designed to monitor one-side coated flat glass during the tempering process. The GS110 scanns the topside of the glass and measures simultaneously the temperature on the uncoated side of the glass where the emissivity is both known and significantly higher. The measured data are transferred to the Windows-based GS110 software which is included in the GS110 system. The software automatically corrects the thermal image of the topside of the glass to provide a more accurate result. Further, the GS110 allows the user to set-up predefined recipes to accommodate frequent product changes typical in glass processes. OPC server functionality is included as an integral part of the proprietary software allowing for seamless integration of the data into other process control software packages. By quickly detecting thermal irregularities within the glass and identifying defective heating elements, the GS110 allows glass processors to improve product quality and uniformity, and to reduce scrap. The GS110 can be used for non-contact infrared temperature measurement in other secondary glass-processing applications such as bending, forming, and annealing.

Iron and Steel Slag Detection System
The definitive infrared thermal imaging system for steel slag monitoring
When liquid steel is tapped from a basic oxygen or electric arc furnace, it is advantageous to minimise the quantity of slag carried over into the ladle.
Previously this has been done by visual observation of the tapping stream or by the use of electromagnetic induction coils mounted onto the furnace. However, neither of these methods has proved to be entirely reliable.
The LAND thermal imaging Slag Detection System SDS has been developed using LAND’s expert knowledge of the application and over 60 years of experience in the steel industry to monitor and aid control of slag carry-over from one process to another.
