The Arc Machines Model 415 is designed to be a versatile welding automation control and power supply system. The standard Model 415 can be used to weld all alloys that are weldable with the Gas Tungsten Arc Welding process (GTAW, or TIG) using straight polarity DC current. The basic Model 415 features a complete complement of controls, water cooling and gas control necessary to operate all AMI orbital weld heads for in-place field welding tasks ranging from small diameter fusion tube welds to heavy-duty piping and vessels. All welding tasks are performed with the unparalleled level of precision and repeatability that have become a world-wide AMI trademark.
The Arc Machines Model 415 Windows based power supply/controller features the absolute latest state-of-the-art technology, from its 400 ampere second-generation solid-state Thompson buck-converter power supply to its color VGA display with touch screen.
The Model 415 is an extremely capable power supply that is very easy to operate. The heart of its flexibility is our emphasis on user-definability. Almost all function ranges and modes can be defined by the user to exactly match the welding head or fixture being used. These features include the ability to add up to 4 optional closed-loop motor servos and 8 optional open-loop motor manipulator controls that make it ideal for work-cell manufacturing environments or for use with custom welding heads having unique functions.
Remote operation of the Model 415 requires a minimum of additional options. Most remote welding modes and controls such as lighting and video controls are included as standard equipment.

MTM Power GmbH, the specialist for high quality power supplies, offers in its program the 19" Euro Card with up to six different, galvanically isolated outputs with 6 or 8 TE. With the MTM Power Card of the series MPK1, an unexpected variety of possibilities can be created for 19" applications. Approx. 1.000 different power supply variations as
19" plug-in can be realised. As in a construction kit, the 19" power supplies can be individually assembled with the three basic components front plate, PCB and connector as well as the vacuum encapsulated modules of the series PMA, PMAS, PMN, PMG and PML. The MPK1 offers 2 mounting positions for PCB modules with an output power of 5 to 48 W, either with single, dual or triple outputs. The MPK2 has one mounting position for modules with an output power of 50 to 100 W and up to three outputs. With the MTM Power Card, power supply variations can be realised in seconds. If requested, a separate LED for each output can be included on the front plate. All modules with the same input voltage can be combined with each other. As customised power supplies have the same dimensions and pinning, even these can be combined with standard modules.

The MTM Power series PMA19 35 has been designed for the use in 19" racks. Due to the very slim case with only 4 TE, the PMA19 35 require very little space within the complete system. The devices have been designed as universal compact power supplies with input voltage ranges of 85...264 VAC and 80...375 VDC for worldwide application. The switching frequency is 80 kHz and they are equipped an internal fuse at the input. The nominal outputs of 5 V, 12 V, 24 V and 48 V are adjustable. Despite the compact design, the devices fulfill all common safety and EMI standards, are prepared for Class I and have a high efficiency. They are continuous short circuit and overload protected and optionally available with a power fail signal.

The Teledyne Hastings Instruments Digital 4-Channel Power Supply units are featured in a half-rack profile for simple drop-in replacement of the existing Model 200 and 400 units.
The THPS-400 instruments incorporate many features including an integrated totalizer with a count-up or count-down options, user selected filtering of readings, serial communications or Ethernet, communications.

They provide the voltage supply for sensors, actuators, controllers and other electrical loads. ifm offers low-cost transformer power supplies but also powerful switched-mode power supplies for different applications.
Transformer power supplies
Transformer power supplies provide a low voltage, normally 24 V DC to supply PLCs, sensors or evaluation electronics. A transformer according to DIN 0551 ensures a safe electrical separation from mains voltage and low voltage. The output voltage can be regulated (± 5%) or smoothed by means of capacitors. The different designs and output powers allow adaptation to diverse operating conditions.
Switched-mode power supplies
Primary switched-mode power supplies are a compact and economical solution to supply sensors, actuators and sensitive electronic components and are gaining more and more acceptance. As opposed to conventional transformer power supplies with regulated output voltage primary switched-mode power supplies need no heavy transformers so that there are fewer iron and copper losses. They are therefore distinguished by a very high degree of efficiency of up to 92 %.

As universal compact power supplies, they have an output power of 120 or 240 W. One of the major advantages is to increase to a maximum the readiness for operation of the system to be supplied even under difficult conditions. With dimensions of 50 x 130 x 130 mm (HSA120) and 80 x 130 x 130 mm (HSA240), they perfectly fit into cabinets only offering little space. DC – UPS Systems for Safety Relevant Installations
With their modular construction, the latest DC – UPS systems in the GTLB/GTPB series from Zentro Elektrik expand the existing comprehensive range of DC – UPS systems for supplying power to safety relevant installations.
The AC/DC systems in standby parallel mode are designed for outputs
from 250 Watt up to 600 Watt and fitted with batteries at the customer’s request. Additional DC/DC converters can be added to the system if more output voltages are required.
A battery control and monitoring module allows to control the charging current and temperature control of the charge closing voltage.
Over and above this, numerous monitoring and control signals are provided via relays, LED’s or potentiometers. A signal relay, for example,
if the charging voltage fails, to switch off the battery on it reaching the closing discharge voltage, to give advance warning of reaching closing discharge voltage with an additional adjustable threshold or individual limitation of the battery charging current to prolong battery life, and
