Instantaneous Water Heaters
The Armstrong packaged I.W.H. units are available in several ranges fulfilling a large variety of application demands. The I.W.H. is ideal for hotels, resorts, hospitals, rental apartment/condo buildings, commercial buildings, schools, institutional facilities (prisons), army barracks, sport arenas, nursing homes, shopping centers, and process applications. Whatever your application, Armstrong has the unit and the necessary expertise to address and satisfy your needs. Armstrong I.W.H packaged systems are designed to provide hot water instantaneously - from zero demand to maximum rated output - without the need for hot water storage tanks. The I.W.H. packaged system, an innovative approach to the supply of hot water, was exhaustively tested and proven. The unit comes completely assembled on a common base-plate. The heat exchanger is a plate type offering fast heat transfer and making it ideally suited for applications with rapidly changing demands. The I.W.H. comes equipped with a motorized 3-way control valve and PID (Proportional plus Integral plus Derivative) temperature controller.

The GEA Bloksma oil & water heater V-type is a compact heat exchanger for heating heavy fuel oil, lube oil, diesel oil or water by means of steam, thermal oil or hot water.
The thermal calculation is based on the latest heat-transfer technology. This ensures an optimal design of the heater.

Split solar water heaters HFT-300L HFT-200L
Working principle
This split solar water heating system has solar collectors on roof and water tanks inside the house, and transfers heat energy collected by the collectors into the tank by natural or forced circulation of the working fluid between collector and the tank.
Components:
The system comprises of solar collectors, a water tank, a heat exchanger, a controller and pumps.

Pressurized solar water heaters (compact)
1. Heat pipes are installed inside the vacuum tubes. Without water flow inside, the tube will not be broken or blocked by scales, which is safer and more reliable.
2. Operate automatically with pressure inside the system, so water is supplied under a pressure with more comfortableness for bathing. Its installation site is free from limitation.
3. This machine is equipped with auto. auxiliary heating system, offering hot water safely even in cloudy or rainy days.

Compact immersion tube integrated in tanks
HOT WATER TANK
There are three ranges to take advantage of the benefits of compact immersion tubes in a tank: hot water tank, instantaneous hot water generator and thermal fluid heater.
The hydroaccumulator enables peaks to be restricted and ensures the production of sanitary hot water, stable in temperature and flow rate, in spite of variations in requirements, without using a huge amount of power.

CASTALIA, the condensing absorption chiller with power modulation, (Systema S.p.A. patent-pending), for the production of cooling and hot water, can be used as a heating system in winter and as a cooling system in summer.
The installation of this brand-new product guarantees important energy savings in comparison with the traditional separated systems such as boiler and electric chiller.
CASTALIA is composed by a highly efficient premixed gas burner with modulation combined with an exchanger: the NOX emissions are very low.
There is the possibility to choose the equipment between 8 different models, with a heating capacity from 12.9 kW to 139.2 kW and a thermic performance of 107.4%.
The available cooling capacity range is 12.5 kW - 115 kW with a cooling performance of 103% that can reach 130% if we consider the energy recovery for the production of sanitary hot water.

High-capacity air-cooled chiller for cooling of commercial, industrial or healthcare facilities. May be connected to emitters such as underfloor heating and cooling systems, terminal units (such as fan coil units and water cassettes) or air handling units. Designed as standard for outdoor installation without any special weather protection.

The new Piovan Digitemp Thermorefrigerators heat and cool the process circuit of injection and blow moulding machines. They integrate both temperature control and free-cooling functions, and provide water to every single circuit at specific temperature (from -5°C to +90°C for every single circuit), pressure and water flow.

The combination of compressors with digital technology and the electronic expansion valve - installed in all the Digitemp models in their standard version - ensures the greatest energy efficiency. Moreover, the exclusive Piovan solution which does not require an internal re- circulating pump further increases energy savings.

Thanks to the possibility to use the free-cooling system included in the standard unit, they can provide water coming from the dry cooler or the evaporation tower.

With a floor dimension of only 0.4 m2 and a height of 108 cm, these models are the most compact units present on the market at the moment.

Water cooling system
For every tonne of Aluminium cast some 330 KW of heat is produced. Normally this heat is removed by Water Cooling. With efficient re-use of water with minimal power usage, energy losses and hence costs are reduced with an enhancement in Aluminium product margin.
