Pin Type Moisture Meters for Wood
The Professional is a hand-held instrument designed to take precise measurements of moisture content in wood and provide comparative readings in wood by-products and various other building materials such as roofing, insulation, plaster etc.. The meter comes with "built in" 5/16 inch pins. Optional "plug in" hand held or slide hammer electrodes with various pin length options are available. The Professional is extremely easy to use providing wood moisture content readings up to 40% in 0.1% increments over the entire measurement range. Readings are displayed on the large clear-view digital LCD display.
The Professional offers a practical and accurate way of ensuring that wood is at a correct moisture level for its intended use, proving to be a vital tool for good quality control.
The Compact is a hand-held instrument designed to instantly and accurately measure moisture content in wood and provide qualitative readings in wood by-products and various building materials such as roofing, insulation and plaster etc.. The meter comes with "built in" 5/16 inch pins. Optional "plug in" hand held or slide hammer electrodes with various pin length optionsare available. The Compact measures moisture content which is then indicated on a clearly calibrated analog dial. The Compact provides a full range of readings up to 40% moisture in wood and 0-100 on color coded comparative scale for other building materials. This pocket-size, and versatile instrument offers an accurate, fast and convenient way of moisture measurement at a low cost.

The moisture sensor operates in accordance to the principle of "capacitance measurement". If required, either a metal plate or the conveyor itself can be used as a counter plate in opposite position to the sensor.

|
The hand closes naturally around the ergonomic form of the housing so that the pins on the end of the instrument can be pressed into the material to be measured. The thin pins make it easy to measure the moisture content of sawn timber, chipboard and fibreboard materials up to a maximum thickness of 25 mm as well as normal gypsum or mixed plaster.

Surveymaster
Surveymaster is a moisture meter that displays the moisture level values on a digital display along side a scale of color-coded lights. This digital moisture meter helps in accurate building material moisture measurement [mini]. This combined presentation of moisture measurement helps the user to map the extent of problems and monitor changes in condition precisely and reliably.
Features & Benefits:
Surveymaster moisture meter is supplied with pouch, moisture probe, deep wall probes, calibration check device and wood calibration table.

|
Electronic moisture meter with 3-line LCD for diverse wood species, soft building materials and insulating materials. Its pins are pressed into the respective material and allow for the measurement of the moisture content of sawn timber, chipboard, veneer and fibreboard materials up to a maximum thickness of 25 mm as well as normal gypsum or mixed plasters.

The optimal hardware structure for varying applications is achieved by combining various standard mechanical and electronic modules. The measured values are available on two freely configurable and scaleable analogue outputs and on the serial RS232 interface.
Two freely configurable optional alarm outputs can be set by software. The measured data and the corresponding MIN/MAX values can be viewed on the optional LCD display. By selecting a suitable housing version the EE29/EE31 series can be used for the entire range of humidity measurement applications:
Model A: for wall mounting
Model B: for duct mounting
Model D: with remote sensing probe for measurements in the range of -40...180C
Model E: with remote sensing probe for pressure tight applications between 0,01...15 bar
Model F: with rear cable outlet for wall mounting in clean room applications
Technical data
Measuring range: 0-100% RH; -40...180 C
Outputs: 0-5V, 0-10V, 4-20mA, 0-20mA
Accuracy: +/-2% RH; +/-0.2 C
Supply: 24V AC/DC

The moisture measuring system IR 3000 consists of a non-contact working measuring head and a menu-driven interface for calibration and programming of the moisture measuring system.
The menu-driven interface is installed near to the measuring head and used as an external display near to the measuring position.
This allows reading of the measured moisture values at the sampling devices, for laboratory purposes.
With an Ethernet network or serial connection, measured values will be transferred from the menu-driven interface to a visualisation PC in the control room or to a process control system. Here, the central evaluation and display of all connected measuring systems will take place.
To achieve accurate measurement, a continuous flow of material is required. For operational areas, where a continuous material flow is not guaranteed, special sampling devices should be used. During this process, the material falls into an opening by the sampling device. Once measurement of a sample is complete, it is removed by compressed air so that the sampling device refills with material and the next measurement can take place.
