Description

BROSA tension load cells are made of high-quality fine-grained steel. Depending on requirements, accurate measurements with high stability can be obtained, even in extreme measurement ranges up to 8000 kN. Applications in the harshest ambient conditions are possible in the long term due to proven strain gauge technology and sophisticated amplifiers with reliable and accurate measuring results. BROSA tension load cells are made from one workpiece without welding, even with one or two-sided fork ends. Maritime or continental finishes are offered as permanent corrosion protection. There is a wide variety of applications in which our tension load cells are used. Here are just a few examples: •Lattice boom cranes •Drilling devices •Mobile cranes •RTGs •STS cranes •Mobile harbor cranes •Crane ships By default, our tension load cells offer additional features in addition to a customized design: •Integrated amplifier (4-20mA, CANopen, optional CANopen Safety, PROFINET, optional PROFINET PROFIsafe) •Design capable of sustained operation •Temperature compensated from -40 ... + 80 °C •High EMC resistance of 200 V/m •No zero drift, i.e. no re-calibration required •Consistent accuracy over the entire temperature range •Design for tensile and / or compressive forces •Load limit 150% and breaking load 300% of the nominal load •Security classification PL c / SIL 1 •Protection class IP66 / IP67 in accordance with DIN EN 60529 •Calibration of reproduced installation situation including test report
