The IS-mC1 combined alarm sounder & L.E.D. beacon has been designed for installation in intrinsically safe environments (Zone 0). The IS-mini range also includes stand alone intrinsically safe alarm sounders and L.E.D. beacons and is definitely the most effective method of signalling in Zone 0.
