The SW with c0300 and c0400 firmware is a series of Full Digital drives configurable by means of PC software interfaces and easy to install in CANBus fieldbus networks (CANopen protocol) or in RS232/RS422 serial systems (Modbus protocol). Additionally to the driving of stepper motors with less noise, less heating, smooth motions and higher performances at high speed, the SW drives offer thanks to the f4d2 firmware an exceptional reliability combined with mechanical compactness against a competitive cost. Typical application fields are multi-axles systems in which the drives control (up to 127 drives) takes place through commands transmitted by a master controller. By also integrating the real-time Power Motion module a perfect synchronization between the axles and smaller workloads of the master unit are guaranteed. Designed for the control of 2 or 4 phase hybrid stepper motors, a wide range of stepper drives with a different power level are available to combine with motor series from 1.7" to 4.2".
