The sensitivity of the set relay-transformer comes fixed by the relay.
Toroidal transformer CTD-1/28 specifically is designed for assembly
on track DIN.
OPERATION WAY: the toroidal transformer realizes the vectorial sum of
the intensities of the conductors who happen through their interior.
If the vectorial system exists a flight of current it unbalances and it generates one
tension in the secondary winding of the transformer that is transmitted to the relay.
When the relay detects a leakage current superior to selected sensitivity
it brings about the disconnection of the apparatus of cuts associate (interrupting automatic,
cocking mechanism, etc.) once passed fit temporisation.
The size of the toroidal transformer depends on the diameter of all the
active conductors who happen through the transformer, without considering the conductor
of earth that always he must go by outside.
