Packing made of expanded graphite yarns reinforced with Inconel wires and coated with a graphite-based mix. LATTYgraf 6940 contains a sacrificial anode to protect the valve stem and the stuffing box.
This special structure withstands high pressures without graphite extrusion.
High-performance valves.
Thermal oils and all high-temperature fluids, power stations, refineries, boiler plants, etc.
Limitation: precautions in oxydising environment.
Approval: BAM (oxygen), amended fire test API 607.
