The extensometer MINI MFA 2 is suitable for almost all types of samples up to Ø 25 mm (or 25 mm x 25 mm) and a gauge length (Le) of 100 mm.
The extensometer MINI MFA 2 is suitable for almost alltypes of samples up to Ø 25 mm (or 25 mm x 25 mm)and a gauge length (Le) of 100 mm. Very high resolutionand accuracy allow the determination of the Young'smodulus (modulus of elasticity), in addition to the yieldpoint Rp0.2. The instrument's accuracy exceeds allrequirements of the European Norm EN ISO 9513. Theextensometer permits quick and easy examination of alarge number of test samples. Its low weight and minimalactivating force make it especially suitable for small andnotch sensitive samples. The measurement rangeamounts to 2 mm in the positive (tensile) direction and 1mm in the negative (compressive) direction. The largeadjustment range of the clamping force allows for theoptimal adaptation to the tested material and the sampledimensions. The knife edges are wear resistant and canbe utilized several times over by rotating them and thusincreasing their life.
