This innovation optimizes an especially important job in die and mould making: SpeedLift delivers efficient milling of fitting and guide surfaces. Unmanned production, hard materials and complex cutting jobs are just some of the difficult challenges that have to be met in die and mould making. Against this background, there is considerable demand for tailormade tool innovations. An outstanding example of this is LMT Kieninger’s innovative SpeedLift plunge milling system. It was specially developed for the semifinishing and finishing of fitting and guide surfaces. Absolute preservation of angularity is guaranteed in drawing and plunge milling. Over a length of 300 millimetres the maximum deviation is only 0.01 millimetres – and that is even the case with large tool projecting lengths of more than 650 millimetres.
