Madison Company offers an extensive line of standard optical point level detection switches for use in non-coating liquids.
These compact optical switches incorporate a phototransistor that provides a digital output indicating the presence or absence of liquid. The sensor tip houses the phototransistor. The refractive index is changed when covered by liquid, thus indicating the level.
There are several wetted materials and operating ranges to choose from within Madison's optical switch series, including high-temperature performance options.
