It has nowbeen fitted with an electronicsystem using SMD technologyfor control of the supply voltage and transformation ofangle-proportional voltage intoan output current.This ensures optimum interference immunity in signaltransmission even over longcable distances.The electronic system integrated into the potentiometerreplaces an external transformer and supplies an optionalstandardized output current of0...20 mA or 4...20 mA. Thewide operating votlage rangepermits upply from an unstablised DC source. The housingis in compliance with protection class IP 65 with the conformable plug and is particularly suited to stringent require-ments in the machine, plantand vehicle design sector. Theprecision ball bearing is designed to withstand highmechanical strains.In order to ensure the EMV,the cable shielding must beconnected with the housingvia the plug. The shieldingconnection can take placegalvanic or by a couplingcapacitor towards ground.
