For the effective size reduction of extruded production waste that occurs during the production and processing of windows, siding profiles and shutters, the Knife Mill, type PSP is used. The Knife Mill produces a high quality granule that can be directly reintroduced into production, depending on the extrusion technology or further processed into powder.
Method of Operation:
The short waste pieces are fed either via a conveyor belt or by hand. Profiles up to 6 meters in length are fed via a horizontal feed chute. Profiles seized by the rotor are automatically and continuously drawn in and size reduced. The hole size of the screen determines the end size of the cut granules.
