  • pressure belt filter 700 - 3000 m³/h | FluX-Press Passavant Geiger
Belt filter presses are pressure filters with a continuous screen mesh as a filter means which filter in a two-step process. The first phase comprises a gravity filtration, the second a compaction of the pre-dewatered sludge between two screening belts which are guided around rollers. The arrangement of the rollers and their diameter are decisive factors for the dewatering output. The FluX-Press was developed from this technological point of view in which you can obtain a gradual pressure increase on the sludge cake due to the optimized combination of rollers.

Advantages
- Low investment costs
- Reduced energy consumption with values under 0.1 kWh per m3 of sludge
- Minimum consumption of polymer aid
- Efficient pre-dewatering by rising gravity zone with offset baffle plates
- Optimized roller configuration and two specially profiled pre-dewatering rollers
- Sludge discharge in top area for better link to conveying system
- Sludge accumulation in sight area to check the process without platforms and scaffolding
- Short overall length and low weight of machine
- Plastic coated rollers in the compaction area
- Limited consumption of fresh water for the internal recirculation, filtrate trough
- Pre-dewatering zone simultaneously used as pump inlet
