Description
Grit Trap Scraper
Passavant Grit trap scrapers are used to remove grit sediment in a longitudinal grit trap from the tanks.
Operating Method
The grit trap scraper of the bridge type straddles the longitudinal tank. Using a scraper, it pushes the grit into a trough or extracts it with the aid of a compressed air lifter or pumps from the bottom of the tank.
Construction
Types: Single, twin or triple scrapers
Scraper types: Suction or blade scrapers
Scum: With or without scum/grease separation
Drive: With wheels, on rails, with pinion gear drive.
