The magnetic roller separator (R-RMP) is a cylinder where the entire surface is magnetized and is typically used as the final roller of a conveyor belt.
Metals, both ferrous and non-ferrous, are one of the material groups most considered in waste reduction, as they represent high value. Ferrous metals are the elements with the highest percentage and the most easily capturable by magnetic fields.
Aware of the severe environmental problem, we have developed a complete range of separation equipment, among which the magnetic roller separator (R-RM) stands out, offering high effectiveness in the separation, recycling, and recovery of ferrous metals.
Operation and Technical Characteristics of the Magnetic Roller Separator
The magnetic roller separator (R-RM) consists of a cylindrical body in which powerful magnets, made of ferrite or neodymium-iron-boron, are incorporated, generating a permanent magnetic field.
It has no energy cost and is usually installed by replacing the discharge roller of the conveyor or at the outlet of a vibrating tray. It can also be the drive drum of the conveyor. We adapt its manufacture to the needs and dimensions provided by the customer, so that it does not imply any change in the original dimensions.
Sometimes, when higher magnetic power is needed or when the diameter of the drum must be very large, we can supply an electromagnetic roller separator (R-RME) that at least requires electrical energy to generate the magnetic field.
