Fluoropolymer tube Saint Gobain Performance Plastics Process System
FEP - ø 0.2mm -> 130mm
FEP belongs to the category of meltable fluoroplastics. Longer production lengths and improved tolerances are possible, because of a different process being used in production. There is also a great variety of sizes available. Current diameters range from 0.20 mm to 130 mm.
FEP tubes from Saint-Gobain Isofluor distinguish themselves by their excellent ductility. In most cases the permeation coefficients 0 meltable fluoroplastics are superior to those of PTFE. The chemical resistance of FEP is only slightly inferior to that of PTFE. FEP is more transparent in contrast to the milk white PTFE material. FEP tubing is always the right choice whenever the observation of the flow of liquids in the tube is necessary. FEP is a material with a very good transmittance over a wide range of wavelengths.
The tubes can be supplied on spool and in coils or already cut to length in sections to the customers' specification.
