The S5K Modular Series is scalable from 4 to 20 kVA. This flexible system adapts to your changing requirements with the simple addition of a choice of standard modules. Fully configured, tested and shipped according to your specifications, the S5K Modular also allows you to easily upgrade the system in the field when you need a higher VA rating (up to 20 kVA), longer backup runtimes or to add N+x parallel redundancy. These cost effective upgrades keeping your S5K Modular working to meet your needs without a large reinvestment in a new system. Each of the modular componentsincluding 4 kVA power modules, battery modules and system control modulescan be hot-swapped making it easy to increase power, extend your backup runtime or add redundancy while still providing power protection to the load. The N+x redundancy option provides a fault tolerant group of power modules and controls. Intelligent power and battery modules automatically go offline if there is a problem, without interrupting power to the load. Self-diagnostic capabilities simplify maintenance and troubleshooting, and each unit incorporates an internal automatic bypass.
