entry. Sealing is based upon soft sealant technology and this employs various materials which take into consideration the process conditions in order to
achieve this When applying torque to the cap nut it forces the follower to move in a longitudinal direction.
This in turn forces the sealant against a seperate internal seat located in the bore of the gland body. The resultant force causes the sealant to deform and
close down on the probe/element and expand into the bore of the body producing a pressure/vacuum barrier. With the exception of Lava and Grafoil®, the other sealants are re-usable.
