Ebo Systems SAS

Established in 1959 in Zurich, Switzerland, Ebo Systems was one of the first European manufacturers to specialise in the production of composites for electricity cable laying.

Impressed by this new-generation material, Ebo Systems chose glass fibre reinforced polyester (GRP) for its mechanical strength, low weight, speed of assembly and its exceptional fire and corrosion resistance.

In 1972, to cope with the growing demand in various markets, a new production factory for cable tray systems was established at Villers-La-Montagne in France. The factory is located at the crossroads of Europe, close to the borders with Luxembourg and Belgium.

In 1980, in addition to the technology of hot press moulding, Ebo Systems introduced pultrusion technology so as to offer its customers two complementary systems.

In 1986, a new halogen-free mix was developed. Being self-extinguishing and releasing few fumes in the event of fire, it quickly became the standard for all pressed and pultruded products.

Ebo Systems has many patents, the latest relating to a completely new system of pultruded cable ladders and supports.

Today, Ebo Systems is one of the world leaders in its specialty.

Ebo Systems has been ISO 9001 certified since 1994.

Ebo Systems relies on an efficient production installation and special steel moulds, heated and controlled to optimise production. Ebo Systems is one of the rare companies in the world to master the two main technologies of polyester processing: pressmoulding and pultrusion.

Ebo Systems' products are suitable for use in the construction of tunnels, bridges and railway tracks. They enable operating costs in the marine environment to be reduced and withstand the majority of chemical agents.
