Description

Bushings and bearings with low friction and high chemical resistance benefit from the XYTREX® range. Especially, XYTREX® 451 and XYTREX® 459, aka X451 and X459, are proprietary compound with carbon fibers, specially designed for stationary wear components. These components, also known as X451 and X459, are listed in API 610, 11th edition as approved materials. Reinforcement by carbon fibers improves the modulus, deformation under load and fatigue strength, as well as thermal conductivity. This results in a general decrease in the wear rate and an increase in the PV (Pressure/Velocity) limit. XYTREX® 451 has a low wear factor for use in static components up to 150°C. XYTREX® 459 reveals better tribological properties thanks to a proprietary solid lubricant. It is then recommended for extended dry running application. X451 and X459 are recommended for stationary wear components (-60°C to 150°C): bushings, sleeves, central bearings, Archimedian screw bearings, throttle bushings.
