The AAEON ATX-Q870A is an industrial ATX motherboard designed for Intel® Core™ Ultra Processors (Series 2) with LGA 1851 socket. It delivers a balanced platform for compute-intensive industrial applications, high-performance workstations and edge gateways by combining next-generation CPU features with expanded memory, storage and I/O options.

Support for Multiple PCIe Devices
The ATX-Q870A offers extensive expansion capacity with two PCIe Gen5 x16 slots and multiple PCIe Gen4 slots. This enables simultaneous installation of high-performance GPUs, AI accelerators, NVMe storage devices and specialized I/O modules (serial interface cards, sensor adaptors, low-speed NICs). Four M.2 key slots allow integration of wireless modules (4G/5G, Wi‑Fi 6) and additional NVMe drives for flexible system design.

Intel® Core™ Ultra (Series 2) CPU Support
Supports LGA 1851 socket CPUs up to 125W from the Intel® Core™ Ultra Series 2 family. The platform can utilize up to 24 cores / 24 threads and leverages integrated Intel® AI Boost NPU and Intel® Graphics GPU capabilities for hardware-accelerated inference (platform-reported AI performance up to 36 TOPS).

Next-Gen I/O for Speed and Flexibility
Wide I/O selection includes nine USB 3.2 ports, seven USB 2.0 ports, three 2.5GbE LAN ports and multiple COM connectors. Display outputs comprise dual HDMI 2.1 TMDS, one DisplayPort 1.4a and one VGA; HDMI/DP can drive 4K@60Hz. These interfaces support both modern high-resolution displays and legacy industrial monitors.
