Carmen® Mobile – Turn Your Phone Into an ANPR Tool Carmen® Mobile brings license plate recognition to Android phones — no special hardware required. Using the built-in camera and Carmen® Cloud, the app captures license plates and vehicle data in real time, even from moving traffic. Designed for flexibility, it offers multiple modes for different use cases: handheld scanning, roadside monitoring, parking control, or even mounting on a moving vehicle. The app supports ANPR and MMR (make, model, color) recognition, and optionally includes GPS location and timestamp. Events are saved locally and can be uploaded to your system via HTTP, FTP, or GDS.
