Description

Overview
The Apollo II 6500K Liquid Inspection Unit provides daylight-equivalent visual inspection for particulate detection in transparent pharmaceutical liquids contained in clear glass vessels. Designed to support regulated pharmaceutical visual quality control and compliance with pharmacopoeia standards.

Key features
  • Daylight-equivalent viewing conditions: 6,500 K LED lighting replicates natural daylight for accurate assessment of liquid clarity and colour against reference standards.
  • Pharmacopoeia-compliant visual inspection: Developed for manual detection of particulate contamination in transparent liquids to support compliance in regulated pharmaceutical environments.
  • Compliant pharmacopoeia standards: Supports inspection conditions aligned with:
    • European Pharmacopoeia EP 2.9.20
    • British Pharmacopoeia BP 2.9.20
    • United States Pharmacopeia USP (1790) Section 6.1
  • Dual-panel particulate visibility: Contrasting vertical matt-black panel and non-glare white panel (reversible and replaceable) for reliable detection of light and dark particulates.
  • Controlled, adjustable illumination: Intensity adjustable between 2,000 and 3,750 lux via 6,500 K LED source for consistent viewing conditions.
  • Ergonomic, operator-focused design: Fully adjustable height and viewing angle; adjustable light head to shield operator eyes and reduce fatigue during extended inspections.
  • Quick assembly & practical storage: Tool-free assembly, folds for compact storage with protected inspection panels.
  • Durable, long-life LED technology: High-efficiency LEDs with up to 50,000 hours service life for low-maintenance operation.
  • Validation & measurement support: Optional IQ/OQ documentation available to support GMP validation and audit readiness; calibrated light meters for LED verification available separately.

Applications & detection targets
  • Manual visual inspection of transparent liquids in clear glass containers.
  • Detection targets: visible particulates, contamination, colour changes, clarity issues, foreign material.
  • Typical containers: vials, ampoules, syringes, bottles.
  • Typical sectors: pharmaceuticals, injectables, biologics, vaccines and sterile liquid production.

Service & Maintenance
The unit can be cleaned using IPA or ethanol-based cleaning agents to meet routine hygiene requirements in pharmaceutical inspection environments.
