Description
The open standpipe piezometer Casagrande piezometer is usually used to measure the water table levels. It consists of a porous filter and input and output tubes of different lengths. The longer tube allows flushing of the porous cell for cleaning. Ground water enters the shorter tube to give a water table reading.
