The bundle clamp is designed for handling flat sheets or bundles of sheets. The sheets or bundles are handled in a positive grip by inserting several gripping shoes under the sheet or bundle.
Description:
The main components are :
The lifting clevis and the frame: they are mechanically welded and have no load-bearing welds. The welds are continuous, looped and held by a stabilisation anneal to prevent fatigue cracking. These components are mechanically assembled by tenon/mortise or broaching in order to guarantee the quality and durability of these assemblies.
Sliders (guides supporting the arms): they are solid and made of high strength alloy steel. They are guided on bronze rails in the clamp frame.
The arms: they are made from a solid core equipped with a guide tube for the telescopic shoes in the lower part. The guide tube also supports manual gripping shoes. The welds are continuous, looped and held.
Telescopic shoes: they are made from tubular elements and receive a gripping shoe at their ends. Their purpose is to adapt the length of the arms to that of the load to be handled. These telescopes can be manually or motorised.
